Who We Are
A mission of service that has grown with the community.
St. Kizito Medical Center was established in August 2008 as a healthcare ministry of St. Kizito Catholic Parish in Juba, South Sudan.
The hospital was founded by Dr. Justin Bruno Tongun, a South Sudanese pediatrician and public health professional, with a vision to bring quality and affordable healthcare closer to people in South Sudan.
Today, St. Kizito operates with a 100-bed capacity and provides round-the-clock outpatient, inpatient, diagnostic, surgical, emergency and community-focused services.
In collaboration with St. Kizito Catholic Parish, Archdiocese of Juba, we continue to pursue a shared vision of quality and affordable healthcare for South Sudan and beyond.

Our Journey
Growing from a parish clinic into a 100-bed medical center.
Established in Juba
St. Kizito began under St. Kizito Catholic Parish with outpatient services, a laboratory and pharmacy.
100-bed comprehensive facility
The center now provides broad clinical, diagnostic, emergency and community services, supported by more than 130 medical and support staff.
